Noria Restaurant: Reviews & Ratings
I had to pleasure of stumbling upon this Peruvian restaurant Noria this happens to be in the city of Newburgh which is trying to come up there bakeries vintage shops artist Warehouse and eateries on Broadway as well as Liberty Street it's really a nice fine but I have to tell you I had a seafood soup the really knock my socks off it was fresh and delicious the mixture of fresh shrimp soft shell crab muscles clams calamari and the decadent broth which it submerged itself in oh my goodness I was presently surprised a patron also told me did they have special deals after certain time did you can get soup and entree and dessert and a drink for $10 that's a win-win this place is definitely a place that you would want to explore if you want to choose something different from the old fish and chips or barbecue pizza or burger joints which don't get me wrong we do have some pretty good places up there to eat on the waterfront but this is like a Hidden Gem the food was definitely kept to its Peruvian roots the staff was friendly even with the language barrier patrons where able to help me order and there is English-speaking staff definitely will be going back the soup was delicious and filling.
Awesome food here. The fried fish and rice with soup was scrumptious. It was our first time, so we (my son & I) shared a meal. We ordered 2 more fish (the meal came with 2) it was a great lunch for us. Can't wait to go back.
Great food every time I’ve eaten there. I just hope that doesn’t change, cuz Peruvian restaurants are notorious for being inconsistent.
Great atmosphere, friendly staff, and hearty portions
I truly like there Lomo de Carne and desserts! Customer Service can be better upon arrival on order! I’m a woman with lots of tattoos and I work with the state and honestly I see they look at me like I’m a looney and receives a slight attitude from young female which I care less! N/M To all my followers, I’ll keep you posted!
So good food There is so many tables i Recommended to come in family
Neighborhood restaurant with a family run vibe: very authentic, you feel like you are actually in Lima or Cusco. The food is excellent, and the portions are large enough to feed a hungry football team. On top of that, the prices can't be beat. This will become a regular go-to place for my wife and I. Bring your own wine or beer: the only alcohol they serve is Chicha, a corn brewed beer from Peru, tastes great but may be an acquired taste.
Food is good but service and decor is lacking. I think it's the best Peruvian food in town though. Chicha Morada is very good there.
